Product Characteristics:

　　White powder or crystal, odorless, tasteless, and fine in texture. It is poorly soluble in water but easily soluble in acids and ammonium salt solutions, and exhibits weak alkalinity in water. It can undergo a neutralization reaction with acids; however, its alkalinity is weaker than that of sodium hydroxide, and the reaction process is gentler, making it suitable for scenarios that require slow neutralization of acidity. It decomposes easily at high temperatures. During the decomposition process, it absorbs heat and releases water vapor, possessing flame-retardant and smoke-suppressant properties, thus being commonly used in flame-retardant materials. It has a relatively large specific surface area and certain adsorption capacity, which enables it to adsorb heavy metal ions, pigments, or organic substances in water.

Applications:

1. Pharmaceutical Field

It is used to treat hyperacidity, gastric ulcer, gastroesophageal reflux disease, etc. By neutralizing gastric acid and reducing gastric acidity, it relieves symptoms such as heartburn and acid regurgitation.

It serves as a diluent, disintegrant or anti-adherent in tablets to improve the formability of drugs. For example, it prevents particles from adhering during the tableting process and ensures the quality of preparations.

2. Food Additive

Acidity Regulator: It is used to adjust the pH value of food. For instance, it prevents spoilage in dairy products or stabilizes the flavor in fruit juice beverages.

Nutritional Fortifier: It supplements magnesium and is added to cereal foods and beverages to meet the nutritional needs of the human body.

Anti-caking Agent: It is added in small amounts to powdered foods such as table salt and milk powder to prevent particles from caking.

3. Inorganic Flame-Retardant Additive

It is added to plastics, rubber and coatings. When exposed to high temperatures, it decomposes and absorbs heat to lower the surface temperature of materials. At the same time, it releases water vapor to dilute flammable gases, inhibits the spread of combustion, and does not produce toxic gases.

It improves the mechanical properties (such as strength and toughness) of polymer materials, and at the same time enhances their heat resistance and flame retardancy. It is often used in wires, cables, casings of electronic devices, etc.

4. Daily Chemical Field

It is added to toothpaste as an antacid to neutralize acidic substances in the mouth and prevent dental caries; or used as an adsorbent in facial masks and talcum powder to absorb skin oil.

Packaging and Storage

This product is packaged in kraft paper bags, 25kg per bag, and can also be customized according to user requirements. It should be sealed and stored in a cool, dry place away from light, with a shelf life of twenty-four months.

Safety Protection

This product should be kept away from contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. In case of splashing onto the body, immediately rinse with plenty of water.
